On the morning of 20th NovemberReigate Manor hosted the latest Manor Breakfast Club, welcoming over 30 local business owners for an inspiring session of networking, learning, and collaboration.

The highlight of the event was an engaging talk by Ben Bonarius, Managing Director of Navigate, who provided valuable insights into the power of YouTube for businesses. Attendees gained an understanding of how video content can be a game-changer in reaching audiences and driving growth, as well as the importance of leveraging data analysis to optimize performance and strategy.

The event fostered meaningful connections between local entrepreneurs and offered actionable advice to help businesses thrive in an increasingly digital landscape.

Reigate Business Guild Quiz Raises Funds for Town Christmas Lights and St Catherine’s Hospice

Reigate Manor proudly hosted a vibrant and successful quiz night for the Reigate Business Guild on Thursday 7th November , raising over £1,500 to support the town’s cherished Christmas lights and St Catherine’s Hospice. Held in the Ballroom Suite, the evening brought together 97 guests from the local business community for an entertaining night of food, fun, and philanthropy.

The event’s attendees were treated to a delicious curry dinner prepared by the Reigate Manor culinary team, which perfectly complemented the spirited quiz hosted by hotel staff. Friendly competition filled the room as teams tested their knowledge across a variety of rounds, all while contributing to two meaningful local causes.

The funds raised will support the festive Christmas lights that brighten Reigate’s town centre each year, as well as St Catherine’s Hospice, a charity dedicated to providing essential care and support for those facing life-limiting illnesses.

Celebrating successful fundraising events for Stripey Stork

Gail Porter delights all at our Manor Breakfast Club

On Wednesday 8th May Reigate Manor in association with Gatwick Diamond Business hosted their second breakfast in their new Manor Breakfast Club events. 50 guests from local businesses over Surrey, Kent, Sussex and South London were in attendance to hear from television personality Gail Porter.

Gail Porter shared her career into stardom and experiences from the world of television, along with the challenges she has had to overcome with her mental health and being homeless.

Gail has really had some challenges over recent years and was great hearing how she came into fame and also how she has overcome those challenges.”

Breakfast with an Olympian

On Wednesday 7th February, Reigate Manor, in association with Gatwick Diamond Business, hosted the first of their new Manor Breakfast Club events. 55 guests from local businesses all over Surrey, Kent, Sussex and South London were in attendance to hear from Olympian Roger Black.

Roger, a triple Olympic Medallist, delved into the highs and lows he experienced as a professional athlete along with what it takes to compete at the Olympics to achieve success.

Manor Breakfast Club with Roger Black

We are thrilled to announce the inaugural ‘Manor Breakfast Club’ in partnership with Gatwick Diamond Business, taking place on Wednesday, February 7th at Reigate Manor.
Our guest speaker for the event is Roger Black, a widely acclaimed athlete who achieved both Olympic silver in Atlanta and gold at the Tokyo World Championships. With a wealth of experience in high-performance athletics and a deep understanding of the parallels between athletic success and business success, Roger will be sharing his insights on what it takes to become a champion, how to set goals and achieve them, and the five fundamentals of success.

The event will commence with coffee from 6:30 am to 7:45 am, followed by breakfast. At 8:20 am, our Roger will take the stage, and the event will conclude at 9:30 am.

Reigate Manor raise money for the town’s Christmas lights

On Thursday 9th November Reigate Manor hosted the Annual Reigate Business Guild Quiz Night. The Quiz has been running for many years and is an opportunity for members of the Guild to come together in a social format to networking and socialise in an informal setting. The Quiz was originally set up as a fundraiser for the Reigate Christmas Lights which is funded by the Businesses in Reigate through the Reigate Business Guild.

The evening was well attended with 60 guests in attendance. Reigate Manor managed a challenging quiz with tables of up to 10 taking part. Guests enjoyed a Curry halfway through the evening and had the opportunity to win raffle prizes which were kindly donated by business in the community.

The winners on the evening were from the team from business owner Just Ask Miffy. Congratulations!

Reigate Manor win at RBBA 2024

On Thursday 23rd November Reigate Manor hosted the Annual Reigate & Banstead Business Awards. The Awards has been running since 2019 and is a showcase of the fantastic businesses operating in Reigate & Banstead borough.

The awards were well attended this year, with just under 150 guests from local business on the night. Guests enjoyed canapé’s and fizz on arrival, followed by a 3-course meal and wine in The Ballroom Suite. There were 10 categories for businesses to enter which included Apprentice of the Year, Resilient Business of the Year and Employer of the Year. Award categories were sponsored by local businesses that included NTrust, Powertutors and Rethink Print and Marketing Services. The Headline Sponsors for the event was Morr & Co.

Reigate Manor raises over £1800 for Stripey Stork

On Thursday 29th June Reigate Manor hosted an enjoyable quiz and curry night to raise funds for local charity Stripey Stork. 100 tickets were sold for this popular annual event, with quiz goers competing for the Quiz Champion Trophy. This year an incredible £1865 was raised. Something both the charity and the hotel were over the moon with.

Operations Director Giles Thomas said “ We have built a great relationship with Stripey Stork over the years and our Quiz Night which takes place on Stripes4Stripey day is a great way for local residents and business to come together to raise money in support of this wonderful charity, that supports so many local families. Having 100 guests in attendance shows the amazing support the local community have for this charity. I commend our hardworking Events team who organised the questions, ticket sales and food and beverage on the evening.”

Stripey Stork is a small charity based in Reigate established in 2013 helping those in need in the local community. Stripey Stork are a Surrey baby bank collecting donations of clothes, toys and essential items for babies and children and rehoming them with local families experiencing hardship. Since being established, they have managed to support 35,000 families.
