Introducing the Surrey Conference Centre

The team at Hartsfield Manor in Betchworth are excited to announce the launch of The Surrey Conference Centre, an exciting new venue in the heart of The Surrey Hills.

The Surrey Conference Centre offers businesses superb conference facilities in a rural location yet easily accessible from the M25 and Gatwick Airport. On the site of a beautiful Victorian manor house in between the market towns of Reigate and Dorking, the Surrey Conference Centre is home to 17 meeting rooms. Ranging from smaller rooms seating up to 6 people and ideal for interviews and smaller meetings, to the large Hartsfield Hall which holds up to 120 for a conference. The venue is unique in that it offers the versatility of fully equipped high specification meeting spaces and a break out coffee point area yet is still in close proximity of the manor house with its attractive surroundings and traditional hotel facilities including a gym, extensive grounds, restaurant and bar. With 50 tastefully decorated bedrooms, The Surrey Conference Centre is the ideal venue for businesses from the local area and those from further afield to host meetings, team away days or overnight conferences.

Giles Thomas, the Group General Manager at Hartsfield Manor said “We are very excited with the development of the site in this way and The Surrey Conference Centre is a great example of how we can evolve Hartsfield Manor into a multi-purpose flexible venue”.

Hartsfield Family Fun Day

July kicked off with a scorcher on Sunday with our Family Fun Day in aid of George and the Giant Pledge.

Families from all around the area came to enjoy a great day full of fun activities and the odd cold glass of wine.

Whether you were enjoying the sun while listening to our local bands or gleefully watching your little ones laugh uncontrollably to our Punch and Judy show, everyone seemed to have a brilliant time.

The whole day was a huge success resulting in the hotel raising over £1500 for the charity. A huge thank you to everyone who came and supported us. We’ll see you next time.

Hadlow Manor hosts Rotary country drive and cream tea!

The Rotary Club of Tonbridge arranged a very special outing for local pensioners recently. Last Sunday saw a number of volunteer drivers from the Tonbridge Club collect the group and take them on a picturesque tour around the Kent countryside finishing off with an afternoon tea laid on by local independent hotel, Hadlow Manor.

The event has taken place each year ending up at a different venue, but Hadlow Manor heard about it and were excited to get involved and offer the local pensioners their renowned afternoon tea. There were sandwiches, homemade scones and cakes a-plenty!
Giles Thomas, Group General Manager of Hadlow Manor said “We were delighted to get involved with such a worthy cause and treat the local pensioners to a delicious afternoon tea. It’s a great thing that Rotary does by getting those who may not see anyone for days on end out of the house for a change of scene and for a chance to mingle with other local residents all whilst enjoying a cuppa and a scone!”.

The Garden Room at Hadlow Manor was a hive of activity with around 50 locals enjoying the drive and the tea and with such beautiful weather it really was a perfect afternoon.
